Damian Jackson, a 23-year-old Black male, was tragically killed in a fatal shooting near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on March 19, 2016. The incident occurred early in the morning at approximately 2:33 a.m. on Northwest 14th Street. Broward Sheriff's officers responded to reports of shots being fired and discovered Damian Jackson lying deceased in the street. Jackson, who was a father to one daughter and had a girlfriend pregnant with his second child, was identified by his sister at the scene.
