On May 29, 2023, Brandon Kaisean-Elijah Harris, a 29-year-old resident of Winter Springs, Florida, succumbed to his injuries following a shooting in the Bookertown area of unincorporated Sanford, Florida. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Gilbert Street.

During the shooting, two men were struck by bullets. Harris was one of the victims, while the other victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition. The second victim was either transported to a hospit ...
