On June 13, 2023, around 11:29 p.m., Orange County deputies responded to a report of a possible vehicle accident in the 900 block of Hastings Street in Pine Hills, Orlando, Florida. However, upon arrival, they discovered a woman, identified as 32-year-old Dacia Natasha Andrews, who had been shot.
Andrews was found in the street with a gunshot wound and was immediately taken to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The initial call to the authorities had been for a pedestrian who may have been hit by a car, but it was quickly determined that the incident was a shooting.
The investigation revealed that there had been multiple people in the area around the time of the shooting. Several vehicles, including a white truck, a red minivan, and a dark-colored BMW or Mercedes, were also noted to have been present at a nearby residence.
As of the current date, there is no information available on a suspected shooter or any arrests related to the case. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the incident and is seeking the public's help.
