On August 11, 2023, a shooting incident occurred in Orange County, Florida, resulting in the death of 54-year-old Lawana Pinkston. The incident took place in the area of West Sand Lake Road and Winegard Road, where deputies responded to reports of a shooting around 8:45 p.m.
