On October 10, 2023, a double fatal shooting occurred in the Pine Hills area of Orlando, Florida. The victims, identified as 30-year-old Shameka Candy Filidor and 22-year-old Smyley Fontaine Charles, were found suffering from gunshot wounds at a home in the 1300 block of Santa Anita Street, near Emeralda Road.
