On January 20, 2024, 17-year-old Terrance Farrington Jr. was shot and killed outside a Best Buy store in Plantation, Florida. According to his father, Terrance, the incident was a case of mistaken identity. The shooting was part of a series of violent crimes linked to a notorious gang known as the Dania Hot Boyz or Grand Mafia.
