On February 2, 2024, 26-year-old Edward James Bennis, a White male, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident outside Norton's Riverside Bar and Grill in Crystal River, Florida. Bennis, an employee at the establishment, was attempting to intervene in an altercation when he was fatally shot.
