Manuel Torres, a 37-year-old barber from Port Charlotte, Florida, was shot and killed on March 20, 2024. The incident occurred near the 2400 block of Tamiami Trail, specifically in the parking lot of the Bell Plaza, which is in front of his barbershop, Uppercutz. Torres, who was well-known in the community and went by the name 'Macho,' had worked at Uppercutz for 11 years.
