Errol Sylvester Irving, a 56-year-old man from the Orlando area, was one of the two victims in a double homicide that occurred on March 23, 2024. The incident took place at a business that was masquerading as a tax office in a nondescript strip mall north of Orlando, specifically in the Pine Hills area.
Upon arrival, deputies found Irving and another man, Joslyn Michael Gray, 49, who had both been shot. Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The shooting happened in the early hours of the morning, around 3:30 a.m., which was one of several red flags that led investigators to discover that the tax office was actually an illicit after-hours club.
This club, like other similar operations in the area, was known to attract criminal activity, violence, and illegal drugs. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has linked numerous violent incidents to suspected after-hours clubs in the region over the past year, including several shootings and stabbings at various locations.
As of the current date, there is no identified motive for the killings, and no suspects have been named or arrested in connection with the double homicide. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities continue to look into the activities of the illicit club and the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Irving and Gray.
