On March 25, 2024, a shooting incident occurred in Pompano Beach, Florida, resulting in the death of 16-year-old John Zetrenne. Zetrenne, a resident of North Lauderdale, was found on the sidewalk with fatal gunshot wounds. Pompano Beach Fire Rescue transported him to Broward Health North, where he succumbed to his injuries.
In addition to Zetrenne's death, the shooting also left three other individuals injured. The victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
