On April 17, 2024, Yasmin Grijalva, a 35-year-old woman, was fatally shot by her husband, Devin Hansen, during an argument at his parents' home in St. Petersburg, Florida. The couple, who had been married for three years and resided out of state (Hansen in Virginia and Grijalva in Michigan with their one-year-old son), were visiting relatives in St. Petersburg when the incident occurred.
