On May 31, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Umatilla, Florida, involving the deaths of Tracy Bean, 50, and Ki'Anna Lister, 25. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) and the Umatilla Police Department responded to a residence at 44 South Kentucky Avenue after receiving a report of a "suspicious text message" around 5:30 a.m.
