On June 20, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Pensacola, Florida, resulting in the death of 22-year-old Terrell Omar Owens. The shooting took place around 1:30 p.m. at the corner of M and W Gonzalez streets, where Owens was sitting on his front porch.
