On August 29, 2024, Deputy Timothy White, a 45-year-old member of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, died by suicide. He was found deceased in a vehicle located outside the Tampa Fire Rescue Headquarters in downtown Tampa. The discovery was made by a family member at approximately 5:28 PM.
