Deputy White had served with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office for 15 years, most recently assigned to the Hillsborough County Courthouse, where he spent his last shift guarding the
courthouse lobby. In addition to his law enforcement career, White was also a medical assistant in the U.S. Army, as indicated on his LinkedIn profile.
