On September 20, 2024, a deadly shooting occurred in the parking lot of the 365 Ocean Hotel in Boca Raton, Florida. The incident resulted in the deaths of 32-year-old Chandler Dill and 49-year-old Christopher Liszak, both residents of Oakland Park.

The altercation began when Dill, who had rented Room 101 at the hotel, chased De'Vante Moss, a 30-year-old resident of Boynton Beach, after he fled the room with her purse. Moss had been in the room with Dill before the confrontation. As Dill ...
