On January 13, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Phippsburg, Colorado, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including two young children. The Routt County Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check at a home in the 21000 block of 4th Avenue, where they discovered the bodies of 45-year-old James “Jake” Hill and his two daughters, 7-year-old Jessi Hill and 3-year-old Summer Hill.
