Simone Renee Austin, a 52-year-old woman, died on July 1, 2024, in a house fire in the 600 block of North Bersshine Street in Aurora, Colorado. The incident was reported around 10 a.m. when neighbors called 911 after noticing smoke coming from the roof of the house. The location is in a neighborhood south of Interstate 70 and east of Powhaton Road.
