In the quiet city of Springdale, Arkansas, a grim discovery was made on the evening of January 10, 2024, forever altering the lives of two families. On that Wednesday, 56-year-old Charles Orval Owens, a Caucasian male, was found deceased at the scene of a shooting. Another man, 50-year-old Sean Rokey, was also found with gunshot wounds. Emergency services rushed Rokey to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he succumbed to them shortly after arrival.
