Steven Anthony Tyler Jr., affectionately known as 'Lil Steve,' was a 28-year-old resident of Holly Grove, Arkansas. He was born on April 19, 1995, in Helena, Arkansas, to parents Steven Anthony Tyler Sr. and Angela Nichole Sain-Tyler. Steven received his education from Clarendon/Holly Grove High School, where he graduated in 2013 and was actively involved in the school's basketball, football, and track teams.
Steven was a multifaceted individual who attended Kingdom Builders Ministries,
where he served as the church drummer and maintenance person. Professionally, he was employed at the Belleville Boot Factory and had previously worked at Producers Rice Mill and Riceland Foods. Additionally, he ran his own car detailing and lawn care service, which he took great pride in.
Tragically, Steven's life was cut short on March 14, 2024, when he was lost to gun violence in Clarendon, Arkansas. His death led to the arrest of Antonio Jose Aldridge, a 30-year-old man from Conway, who was charged with first-degree murder in connection to Steven's death.
Steven is survived by his father and mother, Steven Sr. and Angela Sain-Tyler; his children, Cache Tyler, Kaynin Tyler, and Kadynce Tyler; his brothers, Styleen Tyler and Sherman Whitfield Sr.; his sisters, Adriannah Grayson, Arika Grayson, StaLisa Tyler, and Takiyah Davis; and his maternal and paternal grandmothers, Pearley Parks and Lula Tyler, respectively. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.
