In the quiet town of Waldron, Arkansas, a sense of unease settled over the community following the violent death of a local resident. Russell Lewellen, a 69-year-old White/Caucasian male, was found with multiple gunshot wounds at a home on Arkansas 250 on the evening of March 20, 2024. The Scott County Sheriff's Office responded to a call around 5:45 p.m. and discovered the tragic scene.
