On March 20, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in Waldron, Arkansas, resulting in the death of 69-year-old Russell Lewellen. The incident took place at a home located on Arkansas 250. Scott County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) responded to a call around 5:45 p.m. and found Lewellen, who had been shot multiple times.
