Teresa Elizabeth Jeffries, a 51-year-old White / Caucasian female from Glen Jean, West Virginia, was killed on the morning of June 29, 2023, in the Shady Spring area of Raleigh County. What began as an ordinary Thursday near Route 19 quickly became a violent scene in front of Shady Spring Elementary School, where deputies were called after reports of a shooting and an unresponsive person inside a vehicle.
