On January 6, 2024, Corry Fausett, a 55-year-old resident of Provo, Utah, was found dead at his home. The incident occurred when police responded to a call from his wife, Melissa Johnson-Fausett, at approximately 7:41 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Corry Fausett lying on the ground in the hallway near the entrance to the bedroom, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
