On April 18, 2017, 27-year-old Orlando Miret Jr. was shot and killed in Miami, Florida, in the Coral Way neighborhood near SW 37th Avenue and SW 27th Lane. Miret was found dead inside his car in the early morning hours after neighbors reported hearing gunshots and saw his vehicle still running. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Miret suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
