On November 27, 2022, John Martinez Ramirez, a 25-year-old from Glendale, Arizona, was found dead inside a vehicle in west Phoenix. The incident occurred near the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Indian School Road. Phoenix police responded to a call about a shooting just before 1:45 p.m. and arrived at the scene to find Ramirez suffering from a gunshot wound inside the car.
