Daniela MacKenzy Espinosa, a 15-year-old girl, was tragically lost to gun violence on January 14, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona. The incident occurred inside her home, where another teenager, who had been living with the family on and off for about a year, was manipulating a gun. This manipulation resulted in the gun firing, and Daniela was fatally shot. Her brother, who was also present, was shot in the foot and later hospitalized.
