Scottsdale Police Detective Ryan So, a 38-year-old male, died on June 13, 2024, in what was determined to be a tragic workplace accident. A nine-year veteran of the Scottsdale Police Department and a United States Navy veteran, he left behind a wife and three daughters. The incident that led to his death was not the result of a criminal act, and no arrests were made.
