On the morning of January 31, 2017, 34-year-old Mark Reynoso and his girlfriend, Maria De Santiago, 28, were found shot to death just outside their home on South Main Street. The Mammoth Police Department had received a call about shots fired in the area shortly
after 11:00 a.m., but were initially unable to locate the source. Less than an hour later, a second, more frantic 911 call came from the victims' relatives, leading to the grim discovery.
