In the early morning hours of June 30, 2018, a dispute in a midtown Tucson parking lot escalated into a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 23-year-old Joseph Anthony Campos. The incident unfolded just after 3:00 a.m. at 3650 East Speedway Boulevard, where Tucson Police officers were dispatched following reports of gunfire.
