On June 3, 2018, Mary Lee Simmons, a 70-year-old resident of Fountain Hills, Arizona, and her husband, Bryon Thomas, 72, were found shot to death in their home on Kit Fox Place. The events leading to their deaths began when Mary answered the door to find Dwight Jones, a man she knew and had played tennis with on occasion, who was also described as a "sometimes tennis instructor."
