Roman Serna, a 17-year-old resident of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019, due to injuries sustained in a shooting incident. The incident occurred on the East Side of Tucson on the preceding Sunday.

According to the Tucson Police Department, the shooting was accidental and involved a friend of Roman Serna. The police responded to a 911 call related to the incident and found Roman with fatal injuries. Despite medical efforts, he died early Monday morning.
