In the small community of Claypool, Arizona, a quiet life was tragically cut short on April 27, 2020. Jose Oropeza, a 67-year-old Hispanic male, was found deceased in his residence after a fire was extinguished. The Gila County Sheriff's Office, responding to the blaze, soon discovered that the fire was not the sole cause of the tragedy. It was a grim scene that pointed to a far more violent end for Jose and his 70-year-old wife, Katherine Oropeza, who was also found deceased within the home. ...
