Cody Richard Waltz, a 40-year-old man from Apple Valley, California, was fatally wounded in a shooting incident in Fort Mohave, Arizona, on the evening of April 5, 2021. Authorities were dispatched to the vicinity of Cavalry Road and Dunlap Road at approximately 6:35 PM following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, deputies from the Mohave County Sheriff's Office found Fort Mojave Fire Department personnel attending to Waltz, who had sustained a gunshot wound.
