On the night of June 8, 2021, Dannielle “Danni” Coscino, a 32-year-old woman from Phoenix, Arizona, was shot outside an apartment complex in the area of 9th Avenue and Hadley Street. Responding officers arrived around 9:39–9:40 p.m. to find her suffering from gunshot wounds near an apartment building; she was taken by fire personnel to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
