On October 5, 1985, Special Agent Robin L. Ahrens, aged 33, tragically lost her life during an operation in Phoenix, Arizona. Assigned to the Phoenix FBI Office, she was part of a team tasked with apprehending fugitive Kenneth Don Barrett, who was wanted for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution for armed robbery.
