On the evening of June 29, 2006, 37-year-old Carmen Miranda was vacuuming her car at a self-service car wash near 29th Street and Thomas Road in Phoenix, Arizona. While speaking on her cell phone, she was suddenly attacked and abducted by an assailant later identified as the "Baseline Killer." This incident was captured on surveillance footage, which showed a swift and calculated assault.
