In the summer of 2021, a bright young life was tragically cut short in Phoenix, Arizona. Valerie Loya-Arreola, a 15-year-old Hispanic female, was fatally shot on Saturday, August 7, 2021. The incident was not an act of random violence, but a devastating accident that occurred within her own family circle.

The person responsible for the fatal shooting was identified as Alexis Vidrio, a 21-year-old relative of the victim. At the time of the incident, Vidrio was reportedly cleaning his gun. ...
