In the early morning hours of August 11, 2021, a dispute between two men who knew each other escalated to a fatal conclusion in a parking lot on East Speedway Boulevard in Tucson, Arizona. Christopher Victor Romero, a 29-year-old male, was shot following a confrontation with another man. He was rushed to Banner University Medical Center, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly after his arrival. The father of a young son, Romero was remembered by his family as a beloved son and brother.
