On a Saturday evening in Tucson, Arizona, the life of Edward Colin Colteaux, a 38-year-old man, was cut short. On October 9, 2021, a confrontation occurred near Interstate 10 and St. Mary's Road. An off-duty Border Patrol agent, who has not been publicly identified, reportedly intervened in the altercation. During this intervention, the agent discharged his firearm, striking Colteaux.
