On January 27, 2022, a deadly shooting occurred in the Catalina area north of Tucson, Arizona. The incident took place in the 3900 Block of East Blue Moon Trail. Paul Koch, a 53-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

In addition to Koch's death, a woman was also seriously injured in the shooting and was treated at a hospital.
