In the early morning hours of Friday, April 1, 2022, tragedy struck outside of a north Phoenix hookah lounge, leaving a young man's life cut short. Zyion Parker, a 21-year-old male, was fatally shot as he was leaving the establishment located in the area of 15440 N. 35th Avenue. The incident occurred around 12:57 a.m., a time when the night was shattered by the sound of gunfire from unknown individuals.
