Ariza Chavez-Boilard, a 7-year-old girl, was found deceased in her home in Sierra Vista, Arizona, on September 6, 2023, due to a gunshot wound. The investigation conducted by the Department of Child Safety (DCS) and the Sierra Vista Police Department determined that her mother, Christina Boilard, inflicted the injuries that caused Ariza's death. Christina Boilard was also found deceased at the scene, having taken her own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
