In the quiet community of Lemoyne, Nebraska, the life of 44-year-old Steven Holland came to a tragic end on January 19, 2017. What initially appeared to be a violent crime was later determined to be a father's desperate act to protect his family. The male victim died at his family's home in the Shady Acres area near Lake McConaughy.
