On September 6, 2017, a tragic incident occurred in South Sioux City, Nebraska, resulting in the death of 33-year-old Mei Huang. The event unfolded in the parking lot of the South Sioux City police station, where Huang was found shot in the head near a car. Despite being rushed to Mercy Medical Center, she succumbed to her injuries a few hours later.
