Murdered

On July 23, 2020, at approximately 2:38 p.m., Lincoln police officers responded to a report of a shooting between South 17th and South 27th Streets. Sharon Johnson, 69, was the sole passenger on a City of Lincoln bus traveling eastbound when a bullet entered the driver's side of the bus, striking her. She was transported to a local hospital by Lincoln Fire and Rescue, where she was pronounced deceased.
