On August 8th, 1987, 24-year old Louis Walls and his daughter, Kim Lynn, were found dead in their home in what New Castle County Police described as a murder-suicide. Their bodies were discovered about 9 p.m. by George Walls, the victim's brother.

Louis Walls picked up his daughter July 31 from his wife Denise, 22. When he failed to return Kim on Friday night, Denise was not concerned because he frequently was late in returning his daughter, police said.
