In the early morning hours of April 22, 2016, the quiet of a Townsend, Delaware community was shattered by a violent home invasion. Joshua James, a 28-year-old Caucasian male, was fatally shot inside his residence on the 500 block of Dogtown Road. The incident occurred at approximately 3:42 a.m. when two armed intruders forced their way into the home that Joshua shared with another man.
