On February 14, 2019, at approximately 11:40 p.m., the Harrington Police Department responded to an apartment in the 8700 block of Park Brown Road in Harrington, Delaware. Upon arrival, officers discovered 24-year-old Donte Demunguia of Absecon, New Jersey, at the base of an interior staircase, suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. He was transported to Milford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
