Donte Demunguia, a 24-year-old Black man from Absecon, New Jersey, was fatally shot late on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2019, inside an apartment complex in Harrington, Delaware. At approximately 11:40 p.m., Harrington police officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 8700 block of Park Brown Road. They found Demunguia collapsed at the bottom of an interior staircase with a gunshot wound to his torso. Emergency personnel transported him to Milford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators determined that the apartment belonged to a woman who had previously been in a relationship with Demunguia.
