On August 27, 2020, at approximately 3:25 a.m., Delaware State Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 12000 block of North Old State Road in Ellendale. Upon arrival, officers discovered 25-year-old Qualeel Tyshawn Westcott, a resident of Milford, Delaware, outside a residence with a fatal gunshot wound to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
