A 25-year-old Black male named Qualeel Westcott, hailing from Milford, Delaware, met a tragic end in the early hours of August 27, 2020. The 25-year-old Black male was discovered with a gunshot wound to the upper body—or, according to official records, in the backyard of a residence located at 12549 North Old State Road—by troopers who had been summoned to the scene just before 3:30 a.m. The 25-year-old Black male was pronounced dead at the scene, his life cut short by a single lethal shot.
