Russell Nolan Bell, a 48-year-old White male from Clayton, Delaware, died on April 25, 2021, after being shot during a violent incident that drew troopers to the 300 block of Hopewell Drive shortly after 1:00 p.m. Responding Delaware State Police found him outside near a horse stable with apparent gunshot wounds to his upper body, provided first aid, and transferred him to emergency medical services; he was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
