On December 3, 1999, in Dexter, Maine, 20-year-old Mindy Gould and 21-month-old Treven Cunningham were found shot to death in a residence where Gould was babysitting Treven. Both victims were discovered lying face down on a bed with pillows over their heads, each killed by a single gunshot wound to the head through the pillows. The weapon used was identified as a 9mm firearm.
